Spring Detox + Summer Immunity Tea {Holistic Recipe + Benefits}

Looking for a gentle spring reset that also sets you up for strong summer immunity? Here’s my go-to daily tea blend—supportive, simple, and easy to customize. But first.....
Why this tea works (benefits)
This blend supports the body’s natural “clean-up” pathways in spring (digestion, liver/bile flow, kidneys/urinary system, lymph, skin) while also building a steady foundation for summer (hydration, minerals, antioxidant + immune support).
**Nettle leaf
- Deeply nourishing: rich in minerals that support energy, skin, hair, and overall resilience
- Helpful for seasonal transitions: often used for mild allergy support and histamine balance
- Gentle “tonic” herb that supports hydration and recovery
**Dandelion leaf or root
- Traditionally used to support liver function and healthy bile flow (key for digestion and “detox” processes)
- Supports digestion after heavier foods and can help with sluggish, bloated feelings
- Leaf is more “light and cleansing”; root is more “digestive/liver-supportive” and grounding
**Lemon balm
- Calms the nervous system (stress management matters for immunity)
- Supports digestion (especially when stress affects the gut)
- Gentle, uplifting herb that pairs well with spring routines
**Ginger
- Warming circulatory support (helps the body “move” stagnation)
- Supports digestion and can ease nausea or heaviness
- Traditional immune support—especially when you feel run down
**Turmeric + black pepper (optional)
- Antioxidant support and healthy inflammatory response
- Often used for joint comfort and recovery
- Pepper helps the body absorb turmeric’s key compounds
**Lemon (optional)
- Bright, refreshing, supports digestion
- Adds vitamin C and helps make this feel “spring-clean”
**Raw honey (optional; add after cooling a bit, don't use metal spoon to pour or mix in if possible)
- Soothing for throat and seasonal irritation
- Adds gentle antimicrobial support and makes the blend more kid-friendly (for older kids.
